Titling the Tubies

For many of my works, including the 3D Tubies series the titles I choose are about how we cope with what life throws at us. Often drawn from  song lyrics. From Tear’s for Fear’s Shout, shout let it all out, Paris Paloma’s unexpectedly heartfelt piercing line “how gentle can our violence be, betwixt finger and thumb’ from her innocuously titled Knitting song. The scream of Twisted Firestarter by The Prodigy. And Midland’s ‘Sitting here in all my grand delusions ‘ from the song Drinkin’ problem for the Ribena  tubie man. Ensconced in his chair, drowning his sorrows with a pint…of Ribena… or is it laced with something stronger?
